The SECO 5217-04-FOR Original Thumb-Release Bipod in Flo Orange is a professional survey pole support designed to give surveyors and construction crews a fast, stable way to set up a freestanding GPS/GNSS antenna pole or prism pole in the field.

SECO’s open-clamp design allows 1 to 1.25 in (25.4 to 31.8 mm) outside-diameter poles to be attached directly through the side of the clamp, eliminating the need to lift the pole and feed it through the bipod head. Larger 1.5 in (38.1 mm) OD poles can be loaded through the top.

The bipod features SECO’s No-Crush head, designed to prevent crushing of carbon-fiber range or prism poles even if excessive clamping force is applied. This makes the 5217-04-FOR particularly useful for professional crews working with carbon-fiber poles and other field equipment where secure support and pole protection are both important.

For uneven terrain and changing field conditions, the two legs adjust independently and extend to 6 ft (1.8 m). When transportation or storage is required, the bipod collapses to 43 in (109 cm).
