SECO 5217-40-FLY Construction Series Thumb-Release Bipod – Flo Yellow

The SECO 5217-40-FLY Construction Series Thumb-Release Bipod is designed to provide stable, freestanding support for GNSS/GPS antenna poles and prism poles during surveying, construction layout, staking, and positioning work.

The bipod features SECO’s No-Crush head, designed to help prevent damage to carbon-fiber range and prism poles even when excessive clamping force is applied. Compatible 1 to 1.25 in. (25.4 to 31.8 mm) outside-diameter poles attach through the open clamp, while 1.5 in. (38.1 mm) OD poles can be loaded through the top.

Each leg adjusts independently and extends to 6 ft. (1.8 m), making the bipod practical for uneven terrain and changing field conditions. For transportation and storage, it collapses to approximately 43 in. (109 cm). The complete bipod weighs approximately 4.25 lb. (1.93 kg).
